The dragon who saved her promises to get her to her niece safely and that’s what he does, only to find once she is reunited with Eviana more troubles are yet to come. The main characters from the previous books are a part of this story and we get to see how their lives have changed. The main characters, Gwennore & Silas, were fun to read about.
The mission and purpose for each sister become clearer with each instalment. Each woman gets stronger with the love and support of their new families. The stones predictions are spot on and I get excited when we get a glimpse of what’s to come. The Kings are happy, and you can tell that with their Queen, they will rule as a strong and mighty force. We get to meet new and interesting characters who teach us to not judge, listen and learn from those who have been around for awhile.

For me, it just means that it goes on my I feel like shit and I want to curl up in bed and read something fun and easy shelf. I know for a fact that I’m going to re-read this book, probably multiple times.

I just had to keep reading and hoping that the end would not come so fast. I do hope there will be another in this wonderful series, please let it be very soon. All three stories kept me glued to the pages and while I could not possibly tell you which book is my favorite, I really enjoyed spending time with Gwenmore and Griffin and I can’t wait to visit their world again. Kerrelyn Sparks is best known for the Love at Stake series, which has hit as high as number 5 on the New York Times list and 22 on the USA Today list. In all I greatly enjoyed this book and while I won’t go backwards to read the two I missed I do look forward to the next ones. Some was repetitive – Gwen was a little to over fond of talking herself into circles and dear sweet stars if one more person mentioned how afeared folk were of those born into the Cursed Dragon Clans I’d offer myself up as a sacrifice. The Chameleon proves this very fact himself — and then turns right around and disputes it.
